Story

Born in Memphis, TN

AUGUST 28TH 1981

Adam Duffy passed away on February 11th 2023.  He was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Roger and Janice Duffy.  After graduating from Pleasant View Christian School near Nashville, Tennessee, he went on to obtain a degree in Marketing/Business Management from Aquinas University.

Having an adventurous spirit, he lived in a number of cities across the country from Nashville to Los Angeles, California to Dallas, Texas.

Charismatic and outgoing, he made friends everywhere he went and earned a membership to the Camaradas MC in Dallas.  Early in his career, he worked in full-time ministry, serving as the Interim Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church Joelton and Youth Pastor at The Church at Harpeth Heights.  He then transitioned into sales and worked for several successful companies.  He was a self-taught, talented chef who enjoyed cooking for people from all walks of life, from private catering for wealthy clients who appreciated fine dining to homeless mothers who just needed a high-quality hot meal.

He was predeceased by his sister, Kristin Duffy, maternal grandfather, Carlos Owens, and paternal grandparents Theodore and Alta Duffy.  He is survived by his parents, Roger and Janice Duffy, grandmother Myrtice Owens, siblings, Aaron Duffy (and wife Lesley), Andrea Duffy, and Katherine Stevens (and husband Joshua), three nephews, Sam and Ethan Duffy and Alex Stevens, his loving girlfriend Cate Conley, and several dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
